Two Great Organizations

The main reason I got involved with photography was to give back and create visual memories for people.  I have been looking for organizations that I could partner with for a couple months now and I have found them.  I couldn't be more honored, excited, and looking forward to working with these great organizations that truly give back in huge ways.

Camp Smile A Mile is an organization that provides events, and a camp for children with cancer.  It is hard to put into words how many lives they touch in special ways - to get a better idea of what they do go to www.campsam.org and watch the video on the home page.  I will be doing two camps and a family weekend.  I can't wait!

The second organization is Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.  They are a non-profit organization that uses local photographers to capture visual memories for families who are dealing with early infant loss, and premature child birth.

If you know a family who could benefit from the services of NILMDTS visit the website at www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org to find out more about the organization.

GLORY!

Glory is one of the cutest babies ever. We did a mini photo shoot while at McRae's farm and I wish we could have extended it for a lot longer. She was so content and just adorable. Melissa and I almost caught the baby fever having her around. Blessings on you Glory.

Vertigo Spring Retreat

We took our group to McRae farm for our spring retreat.   McRae farm has a working vineyard on the property which is so beautiful to see and walk among the rows of vines. We did a high ropes course that was amazingly challenging and high.  The band Thalon provided the music - check them out at www.myspace.com/thalon.  We had a great time growing together as a group.

Blayne Is A Senior

I am discovering that downtown Northport has endless photo opportunities. It was the first time I have done portraits in the morning and although it being a little cold (what am I talking about cold - Michigan is cold it was more like almost chilly out) we had a great time doing Blayne's senior pictures. Best wishes to you next year Blayne! Congratulations.

Davids Fam From San Diego

David is a good friend of mine here in Tuscaloosa and his family recently surprised him by flying in from San Diego without telling him.  We did a mini photo shoot with his nephews and nieces and I must say they are the cutest kids.  So glad David is part of our lives here in Bama.

Family Visits BAMA

To order pictures from this gallery CLICK HERE

My sister and the 3 kids came down on their spring break.  We had so much fun with them and wish they could've stayed even longer.  It was so great to get to see them for an extended period of time.  We miss being able to go to their sporting events, birthdays, and just watch them grow as people.  Marina is the best baby ever and I don't think she cried for more that 30 seconds the whole week.  Nathan is becoming such a little man and has such a tender heart.  Macy is the funniest little girl ever and makes everyone laugh - you are a princess indeed.  Sara has always been a great sister and we have only grown closer.  We had some funny moments especially when I did the dishes with Marina's bottle scrubber - it worked really well - I kept asking myself when did we get this for the dishes (never occurred to me that it was Sara's used to clean the bottles). Y'all come back here and visit real soon like now.

Sarah Is A Senior

I have the honor of seeing Sarah everyday on our soccer team.  We have this ongoing game where we give each other points for tough shots and I am sad to say she is ahead of me at this point.  She is not only a great soccer player but her attitude and character are equally as impressive.  Thanks for being such a teachable person and giving your all on the field.  Congratulations Sarah and best of luck at Alabama next year.
