Sandras Family

To see more photos of the Sandras Family and to order prints from this post CLICK HERE

There are some people that when you take photos of them they do all the work of looking great, striking the pose, and bringing their story to the camera - the Sandras family was so photogenic. Kim the mom has taken so many pictures of the kids that when you say pose they instantly turn into little models it was so funny. I love the Sandras family - their story is incredible. They were living near new orleans and Katrina wiped out everything - that tragedy led them to Tuscaloosa and a fresh start. In the midst of their tragedy God proved himself faithful. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. I can't wait to spend more time with them - such a great family. Blessings.

Jessica Is A Senior!

Jessica is a senior. Jessica has the best personality in the world and it shows up in the pictures. We tried to get her to do a more serious look - she just can't do it; she has to smile. It was so much fun taking pictures of Jessica. Congrats on being a senior Jessica best wishes.

Leslie, Morgan, Morgan, & MaGee

I called Morgan a while ago to setup a photo shoot with her and her horse. So today was the day when I got to take some pictures with Morgan & Leslie with Morgan's horse. MaGee wasn't really cooperating so we decided to go the park across from the horse stables to take some portrait shots. I was really happy with the results. Leslie and Morgan go to Vertigo on Wednesday nights and it has been so great getting to know them better - they were such troopers today.

Alabama Rugby

Yesterday I went to the rec fields at Alabama University where they were having a Rugby tournament. This was my first live experience watching rugby. It was intense to say the least. Imagine a bunch of huge guys running full speed into someone else without pads or helmets on. I will call these guys "mans men." During the game there were several injuries, blood, and sweat spilled on the field. The game calls for grace, strategy, planning, quickness, and raw force. I am planning on learning some of the rules so I better understand what I am watching - hopefully you get a glimpse of the rugby experience here through the images.

Beauty Is All Around Us

To order any pictures seen on this post CLICK HERE

I am continually trying out new logo designs until I find one I think really looks good and fits the style of the photography I shoot - that being said I am unveiling another look. I am sure there will be a few more looks until I land on one. I am posting pictures from several different shoots and seasons of finding beauty all around us. One of my favorite things to do is to go on a walk with my camera and see if anything jumps out at me or I am able to capture something unexpectantly.

Kayser Girls

This past weekend we went to Nashville to spend some time with the family.  Every time we go I feel like I need to start a diet with how much good food we eat.  I took Melissa to see U23D at the IMAX it was the best 3D experience I have ever had.  We have seen U2 live and the movie often felt like we were right there live again.  I would encourage anyone to go and see it.  While we were there we went downtown Franklin which has some great places to take pictures.  Here are all of the Kayser girls minus 1.
