Alabama Gymnastics

I have always appreciated gymnastics - It should be considered an extreme sport some of the things they do.  Since we have moved to Alabama we have not stopped hearing about the Gymnastics team at the university.  Soon I became friends and bike riding partners with David Patterson one of the coaches at Alabama.  Once we experienced the first meet we were hooked.  The Patterson's over the past 30 YEARS have done such a great job building the program, and making it a community event.  It is amazing to see 13,000 people at a gymnastics meet.  The last meet was the "Pink Meet" raising awareness and funds for breast cancer.  I am sure we will only become bigger die hard fans as the years go on.
