Shannon & Josh Engaged

Congrats Shannon and Josh.  Josh is serving in Iraq and had a two week window to do the engagement pics.  They are getting married in Jan - in Huntsville.  They were such a fun couple.  They were so natural in front of the camera and have some great smiles.  Josh is heading back to Iraq soon and then they will be stationed in Hawaii.  Whenever you see these pics or think of it pray for Josh as he serves.  Best wishes to the two of them.

Houston Re-Build

Just got back from Houston Saturday.  We took a team to the original event a rebuild project in the Houston area.  It was an amazing experience.  Our team worked in a couple different homes the owners were Vietnamese.  They were so grateful and cooked our team a couple meals.  For the first time I at raw oysters straight from the ocean - let's just say I won't be doing that again.  The materials were purchased through a great organization called Gift Card Giver - the organization collects gift cards with any remaining balance and then redistributes them.  It was crazy to see the damage that still was so very visible 6 months later.

Mary & Stan Engaged

Mary booked us a couple months ago for her wedding in June.  She referred us to Katie.  So last weekend we did a back to back engagement session at Mississippi State University.  All four of them graduated from MSU.  It was so great to get to know the four of them.  Best wishes to both couples.

I had never been to Mississippi State University - man was i missing out.  The campus is designed so well and it has a million different places to shoot.  Katie and Jeremie are getting married on campus at a beautiful chapel in May.  They were so fun to work with and I can't wait for their wedding.
