Kortnie is a dear friend of ours. She recently had colon cancer and after long hard chemo treatments her test came back last week NO CANCER. She really is a miracle story. Kortnie is a brilliant musician and painter. She is featured on a grammy winning album "I'll fly away" with dolly parton, vince gill and others. Check her out HERE. I had a great time capturing the Lindsey family they were such great people. After a couple indoor ones we went to a field by their house and finished the photo shoot their - I love the field pictures - really got a chance to capture personalities.

Win Shape Retreat Center

Melissa and I got away this last weekend and stayed a night at the winshape retreat in Rome, Ga. It was rebuilt by Truet Cathy the owner of Chic Fil A - the whole goal was to build a place that helps marriages, families and children grow closer to each other. The campus is right next to Berry College and the campus is 28,000 acres. There were deer everywhere. It was an amazing place and I highly recommend you getting away there.

What a beautiful day and beautiful wedding.  John and Meagan were married at Calvary Baptist on the campus of the University of Alabama.  Their reception was at the Yacht Club of North River Country club.  The art in the yacht club was overwhelming how many amazing pieces and originals there were.  I had no idea that the museum at north river has the largest privately owned art collection in the world.

John and Meagan just got done building a new house a lot over from us we are so excited to call them our neighbors.  They are amazing people and have the best hearts.  We loved being a part of their day and honored to capture it.
